Loved this little one!! She is full of energy, and smiles and giggles. And as per usual with 18 month olds, she wanted to do everything BUT sit down for the camera. :) I love this age because they are so busy exploring, and truly being themselves. We pulled out all the stops, her mom and I. Okay, lets be honest, it was mostly her mom (who by the way is 4 months pregnant). She jumped up and down ALOT, danced, made silly faces, sang all kinds of songs…She went WAYYYY past the extra mile to get Avery’s attention. And she did. And I captured some moments that I absolutely adore….Hope you all like them too.

This was a fun shoot I did a few weeks ago with my oldest son, Ethan and his friends, Peyton and Kayla. It was a gorgeous day, so I figured what better to do than an impromptu photoshoot. I took them to all my favorite spots, and we had a blast. It was refreshing to photograph a little girl for once, she was so into the whole shoot. The boys were happier playing in the back of the van! I LOVE how these shots came out.

And this one I love. The spontanaeity. The real smiles and laughter. This is what being a kid is all about. :D

These are three of the loves of my life. My boys. My heart. They make me smile, laugh, cry, bite my lip in frustration and to keep from laughing when I shouldn’t. They were so great for this photo shoot. They ran around, yelling, but soon enough settled down. Of course, I have to say a huge THANK YOU to my husband, Trevor who was my kid wrangler. And assistant. He helped get some of the great smiles and funny faces in the shots below. I got some great shots to make some prints for my own walls (which, sadly, are bare). This was an assignment for school, and I figured since it has been almost a year since I took a portrait of them (bad photographer mommy), I wanted to include them for this one. I absolutely LOVE these.
