About Eye Candy Photography
August 11, 2009I love my job. Plain and simple. There aren’t words to describe the passion. Eye Candy Photography is all about producing breathtaking images; images that are visually appealing and good to look at.
I picked up a camera in the first place because I gave birth to three amazing little men. Being a stay at home mom to three little guys didn’t afford me the luxury of custom portraiture, so I began setting aside some money each month to buy my first DSLR. Once I got all the technical stuff down, I began to think I might be able to turn this love into a business. Eye Candy began to take shape in my head. I wanted to be a fun, unique, portrait studio that produced images that were, if nothing else, good to look at.
I love capturing children, but I also LOVE fashion. My mind is inspired by the looks that grace the pages of Vogue and Harpers Bazaar, and I LOVE and ADORE the artsy images that come from Annie Liebovitzs’ camera. That is how I look at the world too. I see it as a play on the whimsical, the magical, the surreal…Its bringing that childhood imagination back to the forefront and allowing it to run free.
So while Eye Candy was initially going to be a child portrait studio, once I allowed my imagination to break free and take hold, I learned that Eye Candy could encompass all the things I love to photograph. It didn’t have to be children OR fasion. It could be both. My specialties include:
-Fashion
-Glamour/Boudoir
-High School Grads
-Newborns
-Babies
-Children
I really love what I do, and I hope that it shows. Because that is the purpose of Eye Candy Photography: creating images that are good looking. That fully display the love and vision that created them. Images that speak for themselves.
